A Brand Strategy Case Study: Turning Insight Into Clear Direction for Karyn Paige

Updated: 2 days ago

How a Design Map™ helped a Human Design Mindset Coach clarify her message and show up with confidence

Karyn Paige is a Human Design Mindset Coach who supports women in their personal development journey. She focuses on helping people understand themselves with more compassion and clarity.

Before we worked together, the heart of her work was already there. The challenge was communicating it clearly and consistently, especially by connecting what her audience knew about Human Design with how she could help them.

This project was completed in June 2023 and represents an early version of the Brand Voyage™ experience.

Brand Strategy Case Study Overview

This brand strategy case study shows how a Design Map™, followed by focused brand touchpoint design, helped Karyn clarify her message, strengthen her visual presence, and gain more confidence in her business.

Where She Was

Karyn had a clear perspective and a strong coaching practice, but struggled with brand awareness and consistency.

She was navigating:

  • inconsistent income,

  • uncertainty around messaging,

  • and the challenge of explaining Human Design in a way that felt accessible rather than overwhelming.

The work itself was not the issue. The challenge was turning it into language, visuals, and systems that could help her grow.

What Needed Clarity

Our first priority was to set a clear design direction.

Through the Design Map™, we focused on:

  • clarifying her ideal audience,

  • refining her messaging,

  • identifying what made her approach distinct,

  • and defining a creative direction that could support the emotional tone of her work.

This strategy phase organized her existing ideas, making it easier to decide what to say, what to show, and what to focus on first.

“My new brand has transformed the way I show up online and communicate to my audience. My messaging is supported by eye-catching, emotion-evoking visuals.”— Karyn Paige, Human Design Mindset Coach

How We Navigated It Together

Once the Design Map™ was complete, we proceeded to the Design Stamp™ phase of the Brand Voyage™.

Rather than designing a logo suite, we focused on touchpoints that would immediately help her visibility and daily work.

Together, we crafted:

social media templates,

a content calendar and visibility plan,

business cards and thank-you cards,

and a website style guide for consistency.

Each piece was designed to convey the emotional depth of her work while remaining clear, practical, and easy to use.

The Brand That Emerged

The visual style was inspired by constellation-like elements, creating a sense of openness and expansiveness without sacrificing brand clarity.

The system was flexible, allowing Karyn to grow and change while remaining consistent. Her brand started to feel like a real extension of her voice and values, not something she had to “perform.”

“I’m excited about how versatile my new brand is. There are so many ways that I can already use Ashley’s designs for social media content, and there are lots of future possibilities available as my business grows.”— Karyn Paige, Human Design Mindset Coach

What Changed Afterward

With a clearer strategy and helpful brand tools, Karyn began to show up with greater confidence and consistency.

By the end of the project, she:

booked her first Business Human Design session,

implemented a regular content schedule,

and secured two summer speaking engagements.

The new brand helped her build momentum and facilitated decision-making.

“When you’re working with Ashley, you can speak to her openly, and she’ll reflect your brand identity back to you. It’s a gift. She’s going to create designs that you couldn’t even imagine, and go above and beyond with strategies on how to use your brand.”— Karyn Paige, Human Design Mindset Coach

Brand Touchpoints in Action

This project emphasized meaningful, usable touchpoints.

→ Motivational Thank-You Cards

These cards are made for handwritten notes, helping the coaching experience continue beyond the session.

→ Social Media Templates

With over 30 flexible designs, it’s easier to create content for posts, stories, highlights, reel covers, and blog graphics without starting from scratch.
