A Brand Design Case Study for The Adames Method: From Premade Kit to Aligned Brand

Elizabeth is an Emotional Eating NeuroCoach through her small business, The Adames Method. She helps women overcome emotional eating habits and build a healthier relationship with food. This brand design case study shares how a thoughtful strategy-led approach helped align Elizabeth’s brand with her values and vision.

The Struggle with Premade Brand Kits

Brand Design Case Study Overview

Question: Before we worked together, what frustrations did you experience with your logo?

"I needed a logo, I didn’t know what to do, how and what to start on, how to do it and I was frustrated because it’s not my zone." - Elizabeth Adames

Before the project, Elizabeth’s original logo, colors, and fonts came from a premade brand kit she received through a group she was part of. Premade kits can be a helpful starting point, especially in the early stages of a business, because they allow you to quickly customize a visual identity and get up and running.

In Elizabeth’s case, the kit helped her get started, but it didn’t fully reflect her values or the women she wanted to serve in the long term.

Round One

Customizing the Brand Kit

For Elizabeth’s first session, we used the colors and fonts from her existing kit as a starting point and customized her brand elements. She loved the updates we created and began using the refreshed logo and colors in her business.

After spending time with the new elements, however, she realized something important. While the design looked polished, it didn’t truly feel like her. The branding didn’t fully align with her values or connect with her ideal client as she wanted.

Round Two

Rebranding with Strategy

For round two, we paused design and focused on brand clarity first.

We built a brand strategy centered on Elizabeth’s ideal client, her message, and the type of transformation she supports through her work. With her thoughtful feedback and clear vision, we created an entirely new visual direction, including:

  • A refined color palette

  • A cohesive font system

  • A flexible logo system

  • Supporting brand elements she could use with confidence

This phase reflects the heart of our Brand Voyage™ approach, where strategy leads, and design follows.

Color Palette, lead magnet, and business card designs
Brand & Touchpoint Design for Elizabeth Adames

The Busy Woman’s Guide is a lead magnet template we designed for Elizabeth to share with her clients and health-focused community. Paired with thoughtfully designed business cards, these brand elements give her the tools to continue adapting and growing her business over time.

Question: What was your favorite part of the Logodentity™ experience?

"It was so easy, I just hopped on the phone with Ashley, detailed my vision and what I wanted and she executed and did an excellent job just delivering what I wanted." - Elizabeth Adames

A Special Note about the Brand Mark

The geometric elephant is a brand element adapted from Elizabeth’s previous branding. It enhances the contrast of her feminine script font and conveys wisdom and positive energy, creating a visual balance that feels both strong and supportive.

Question: What benefits have you noticed from our collaboration? Tell me about your wins!

"1 - asking for help allowed me to ask for more help in other areas of my biz as a result I’ve had more success 2 - I got a beautiful logo (two of them actually) 3 - it became clear to me what my branding, colors, etc are for my box (which I didn’t know about before)" - Elizabeth Adames

When we followed up with Elizabeth after the project, hearing about her clarity and confidence was especially meaningful. Our goal as a creative crew is always to support our clients by keeping their values, vision, and growth in focus, not just the visuals.

Question: What would you say to your industry friends about Logodentity™?

"If you need a logo made for you, Logodentity is here to support. Like don’t even think about it. Do it and you won’t regret it!" - Elizabeth Adames
